Tattoo Aftercare
Please keep your second skin bandage on for 2-3 days.

In the first 24 hours your tattoo will ooze a combination of blood, plasma, and ink. This is normal and will be contained within the bandage.

I'll provide you with an extra bandage should you need it. You can replace your bandage if you experience any of the following:
-
Your bandage leaks
-
Your bandage peels back to the point where the tattoo is exposed
If you do end up replacing your bandage, continue on with the 2-3 day timeframe.

If you find yourself experiencing any sort of allergic reaction to the second skin, take it off ASAP!

The easiest way to remove the bandage is in the shower, indirectly under the running water. Be gentle as you peel the second skin off.

Once the bandage is off, wash your tattoo once a day using fragrance-free soap.

Apple a thin layer of moisturizer to your tattoo after every wash, and as needed throughout the day using fragrance-free lotion. Make sure to give your tattoo several hours between moisturizing as to not over-moisturize!

After 2-5 days, your tattoo will begin peeling and flaking. This is normal- just let it do it's thing.

It may be itchy during the peeling phase- do NOT itch your tattoo! You can lightly slap the area or moisturize it to try and alleviate the itch.

Please avoid:
-
Itching/scratching your tattoo
-
Submerging your tattoo fully in water while it is healing. No baths, pools, hot tubs or saunas.
-
Exercise and excessive sweating during the first week of the healing process.
-
Direct sunlight on your fresh tattoo. You cannot use sunscreen during the healing process, but once the tattoo is healed ALWAYS apply sunscreen to your tattoo to keep it looking good!
-
Wearing tight clothing around the fresh tattoo.

Your tattoo should heal within 2-4 weeks!! :D
